3 classes down and I am actually trying to work out how I can squeeze in an extra class in this week. I really enjoyed Jane's Dance Fit and Tone class last night and for the first time I don't feel like I have been run over by a bus the next day. Saturday is a tricky day due to children's activities but I will try to find a way.
I have just read Hayley's blog and unfortunately, in my case more exercise = more food. In fact I was so ravenous after the class last night I did not stop to chat and headed straight home for a hearty meal. Luckily my husband had something yummy prepared for me when I walked in the door. Thank you Paul.
Not sure if I have lost any weight yet but I do feel like I have a bit more energy which is fabulous and probably a bit more important for me anyway.
Also one of the best things about the classes for me so far has been having some time to do something just for me. I cannot remember the last time I was out on my own 3 times in one week and last night was the first time in ages I just switched off and lived in the moment.
Wow...that was a quite a positive blog from me...maybe exercise does make you feel good...

Hi Jane,
ReplyDeleteI have been completely converted to Jane's classes in a matter of weeks, and for the first time in my life don't think that I will just have to give up because I can't take the punishment. It has been a revelation that exercise can actually be amusing. Why did no one tell me this before? I am in pretty much the same position as you, in that I have 2 littlies, though mine sound older. So good for you for taking this step, I have re-ordered my life to fit around the classes because it has made such a difference to me (and I was looking for something that would...). Good luck.
Ingrid
Hi Jane,
ReplyDeleteYou are doing really well. I have been to two of the classes that you have been to this week and I thought you looked like an old hand, not a newbie. I have just read your blog and realised your a newbie, shame on me. I have been going since November to Jane's class and I thought you looked like you knew what you were doing. Just goes to show!. Keep up the good work, I was a blogger last time and throughly enjoyed it and am doing 3 classes a week off my own back and Im soooooo happy that Im doing something positive. good luck and keep going girl, enjoy Xxx Karen
well well another convert to the secret truth - exercise can be FUN not torture - hurray! and you're so right about living in the moment, just for you and no-one else just for that one hour, heaven...keep going Jane you're doing really well....Jane.
ReplyDeleteOnce you start going to classes regualarly it feels weird not to. I had a 5 week break over Christmas.. I was feeling so sluggish for not exercising. I went back to classes this Saturday. I felt great afterwards.. I'm back in the game!!
